1- Although most of the elements were placed in the order of increasing atomic masses increasing order could not be maintained in all cases. for eg: cobalt proceed nickle, tellirium proceed iodine but he could maintain similarities in properties 2- his table did not provide separate place for noble gaseous which were discovered later on 3- there was no place for isotopes in his periodic table.
