What happens with atoms when the material body gets magnetic property....??

If an atom has unpaired electrons, it may show magnetic properties. If an atom with unpaired electrons is non-magnetic, it will be attracted to a magnetic field. If there is no unpaired electron, it will not attain magnetism and will not be attracted to a magnetic field.
